  1. You People going n about how this is fake, it takes two seconds to look at the description. There is a link to their website. It’s real as anything. Mind-blowing technology. Truly, truly amazing.

  2. It’s a very great idea, but if the girls do not see what they draw, then this is not effective enough. Although it may be a good memory helps a lot, it must be resolved to see. I like the Swedish design, for example IKEA furniture and lamps. But in recent times more plastic is used, and fewer wood. However, the prototyping is very straightforward technique, and I predict a great future for it. The girls in the movie was a good decision, they are wonderful. I just love them. And its a nice tune.

  3. the point is not the design itself but the idea. As an engineer who wants to go to product design as masters i’m very happy to see the mixture of the two majors.

  4. I really like one of the ladys in the video she is such a honey 🙂 but anyway i really love the way they make there dream into reality thru design 🙂 thanks for the video

  5. it’s real…the movement of the pen is captured by cameras and creates a 3d model, that is what you see during the “building process”, and then this virtual model is printed with a 3d laser printer…

  6. it’s a technique i believe that is called motion capture. they set the tip of the pen to be tracked and tell the pc to add a white trail to where ever the pen goes

  7. Performance design! Nice vid…I think it’s done with some sort of 3D plotter, that thing shes holding, then superimposed afterwards onto the actual video (you can see sometimes her hand goes through the thing).

And that chair emerging from magic goo…so weird, looks like a Rapid Prototyping machine…we have one at uni that uses powder, it’s like magic. Bloody expensive gear though. Cool stuff;)

  8. But it IS computer generated, like they’re really just moving their hands around. Then they use some software to create the 3D lines, then from there they create the actual furniture. (At least that’s what I saw on Discovery).

  9. lol .. you can see that’s just some sfx from the first time they “build” the furniture …

all who thought this is real … you were fooled.

  10. Hi Richard, I`m sorry but there is misprinting in the transcription of bathroom. It might be [ˈbɑːθˌruːm -ˌrʊm] or /ˈbæθ-/ but not [rʌm]

  12. I love your videos, really educative. And this time the music is VERY ( guitar tunes)nice, relaxing…it matches the objective: teaching. THANKS A LOT !

    pronounciation in english
    it helps me a lot
    thnx a lot

  14. My accent does not place emphasis on the “r” in some words. Some speakers have accents where they “roll” the “r”. All I can teach is my own accent which is a neutral British accent. As I have lived in many places during my life I have what is known as a “cosmopolitan accent”.
My advice is to pronounce as it comes naturally to you. There is nothing wrong with having a Swedish accent or a French or German one when speaking English, as long as your message is understood.

  15. The () means that some people pronounce these sounds, some people don’t. If you don’t hear the sound on the video, it means that I am one of the people who don’t pronounce them. The (r) means that you can pronounce it if you want to.
